ATTE APT-5-50 is a switch/extender equipped with 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps). The first port features a PoE+++ input (802.3 af/at/bt type3/bt type4), while the remaining four ports provide PoE++ power output (802.3af/at/bt type3). It allows you to connect four devices using a single port from the main powering switch and additionally extend the PoE power range. Thanks to its Gigabit ports, the switch is not limited to connecting IP cameras—it can also be successfully used for connecting access points. The maximum output power depends on the PoE standard provided at the input and is approximately 13 W with 802.3af, 25 W with 802.3at, 51 W with 802.3bt type 3, or 71 W with 802.3bt type 4. This power is more than sufficient to power several APs, and by using PoE+++, you can achieve over 17 W of output power per port. The switch does not have an enclosure, is designed for installation inside a junction box using pegs/screws, and features a wide operating temperature range (-25°C to 60°C).

5 x 1G Ethernet Ports, PoE+++ Input, 4 x PoE++ Outputs
The switch is equipped with a total of 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps). The first one features a PoE+++ power input (802.3af / at / bt type3 / bt type4), while the remaining four provide PoE++ outputs (802.3af/at/bt). When using the PoE input, the output power budget is approximately 13 W with 802.3af, approximately 25 W with 802.3at, approximately 51 W with 802.3bt type 3, or approximately 71 W with 802.3bt type 4. The output power per port is 15.4 W (802.3af) / 30 W (802.3at) / 60 W (802.3bt).
DC Terminal
Power can be supplied using the DC terminal, not just via PoE. In this case, the device will operate as a standard switch, without extender functionality. The input voltage range is 44 – 58 V DC.

PoE Extender Functionality
Due to the use of a PoE input port, the device can function as a PoE extender. It allows for a total range of 200 m using a standard Ethernet cable, assuming the segment between the power supply/switch and the APT-5-50 is up to 100 m, and the segment between the APT-5-50 and the end devices is also up to 100 m.
Applications
Due to its Gigabit Ethernet ports, the APT-5-50 is suitable not only for surveillance systems but also for other applications where 1 Gbps bandwidth is required, such as connecting access points. Thanks to the ability to connect a standard power supply, the product can operate as a regular PoE switch. Considering all the features and advantages, the APT-5-50 can be used in a wide variety of locations.

Enclosure
The offered product does not include an enclosure and is typically installed in various types of junction boxes. It features a wide operating temperature range—from -25°C to 65°C. This allows you to successfully use the APT-5-50 for outdoor installations, provided that a weatherproof enclosure or box is used.
