TP-Link Tapo T300 is a sensor designed to detect water leaks. It is intended to work within the Tapo ecosystem and requires connection to a compatible hub. When properly configured, the sensor will enter an alarm state and emit a loud sound upon detecting a leak. You can also receive a notification via the Tapo app, which is especially useful when you're away from home. The housing features an IP67 protection rating, making it suitable for harsh conditions. The device is battery-powered, using 2 AAA batteries.

Water leak detection

The sensor is designed for 24/7 water leak detection. It features 6 probes, strategically placed on the top and bottom of the device, to ensure accurate detection from all angles.

Alarm

The device is equipped with an integrated alarm siren that can emit a sound at 90 dB. This loud alert will notify you of any potential water leaks.

Notifications

You can utilize the notification feature available in the Tapo app. If a leak is detected or if the battery level is too low, you will receive notifications.

Visible Alarm

After proper configuration and the use of Smart bulbs, you can create a visual alarm. In case of an alert, in addition to sound, the system will also display a light signal.

Multiple uses

You can use the sensor in a wide variety of situations and different types of rooms. It works well in the bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, or basement.

IP67

The housing is protected against water and dust ingress. You can use the Tapo T300 in challenging conditions where dust is present.

Battery power supply
