The TP-Link EAP623-Outdoor HD is an access point designed for use within the Omada system. It can broadcast a Wi-Fi 6 wireless network and supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps for the 2.4 GHz band and 1201 Mbps for the 5 GHz band. The device features an enclosure fully adapted for outdoor use, with an IP67 protection rating. It is designed for mounting on a pole or wall, and the package includes the necessary mounting accessories. The access point is equipped with integrated omnidirectional antennas, offering a gain of 4 dBi for the 2.4 GHz band and 5 dBi for the 5 GHz band. The EAP623-Outdoor HD has one gigabit Ethernet port, which also serves as a power input for PoE/PoE+ (passive PoE 48V or 802.3at).

The device is designed to operate within the Omada ecosystem. This system enables centralized management of multiple access points, allowing the creation of a unified and extensive wireless network. As you move between different devices, you are automatically switched without losing your Wi-Fi connection. Wi-Fi 6 AX1800

The access point can transmit a Wi-Fi 6 wireless network and supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps for the 2.4 GHz band and 1201 Mbps for the 5 GHz band. This provides a solid connection speed, more than sufficient for most online activities.

Integrated omnidirectional antennas

The EAP623-Outdoor HD features integrated omnidirectional antennas with a gain of 4 dBi for the 2.4 GHz band and 5 dBi for the 5 GHz band. The software automatically selects the optimal antenna for each user, ensuring the best possible coverage and the highest throughput.

IP67

The device is equipped with an enclosure designed for outdoor use, featuring an IP67 protection rating. This ensures it is highly resistant to dust and water, making it suitable for use in various weather conditions.

Gigabit Ethernet port, PoE

The EAP623-Outdoor HD is equipped with a gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps), which also functions as the PoE power input. It supports PoE+ (802.3at) and passive PoE 48V. A power adapter needs to be purchased separately, or you can use a PoE switch for power.

Wall/Pole Mounting

The access point is designed for wall or pole mounting, allowing you to adapt it to your specific location. The necessary mounting accessories are included in the package.
