Management, programming of settings and operation  of the Dahua IP Entry camera  is carried out using a clear and transparent device management program ( WEB server ), which is available from the level of the Internet browser. Using the intuitive program menu, it is possible not only to test cameras and view the current recorded image, but it is also possible to set advanced parameters and functions of the device.

Noise reduction system - 3D NR

The noise reduction system allows you to maintain image clarity in the event of a fluctuating signal strength level. In practice, this function protects recordings from the so-called ghosting effect and allows you to maintain detailed and crystal clear video recordings.

Region of Interest - RoI function

The Region of Interest system enables the quality of the recorded image to be increased in parts of the observed scene indicated by the user. Thanks to the ROI function, it is possible to economically record recordings and save the total size of video files while maintaining the original image quality in priority areas.

Digital Dynamic Range - DWDR

A software-based technique that allows objects in dark areas of an image to be more easily identified by using gamma correction (preserves natural shadows and highlights – as opposed to simply changing brightness or contrast). DWDR is a cheaper and inferior version of WDR.

Back Light Compensation - BLC

The function allows you to eliminate the effect that occurs when the camera is pointed towards a strong light source, i.e. when the foreground becomes dark and illegible. Compensation consists of brightening the foreground, unfortunately also at the expense of the background, which also becomes brighter. In general, the function improves the image quality.

High Light Compensation - HLC

The algorithm detects image points that are strongly illuminated and then masks them, allowing for effective observation. HLC mode is extremely useful when observing underground parking lots. It allows reading license plate numbers that are covered by "bright spots" from the headlights.

Smart lighting function

The intelligent lighting function allows you to change basic image parameters such as exposure, contrast and brightness. The signal processor continuously analyzes the image and immediately reduces the power of the infrared illuminator when overexposure is detected. As a result, the image becomes clearer and overexposures disappear.

Privacy Masks

Using the properties of the camera with the privacy zone function, it is possible to adapt the way the observation system operates to the spatial specificity and safety requirements of a specific installation location. Thanks to the privacy mask system, it is possible to freely designate parts of the image that will be excluded from video surveillance.

Power supply via PoE technology

Power over Ethernet is a solution designed for quick and easy installation of network devices, convenient equipment operation and easy modernization of the installation. Thanks to PoE support in the 802.3af standard, it will be possible to connect an IP camera using the popular UTP computer twisted pair. Saving the total number of cables necessary to run the device improves the monitoring system and allows the camera to be located away from traditional mains power sources.!

H.265 compression support and Smart codec

The latest H.265 compression provides 40-50% savings in bandwidth and memory. H.265 encoding uses advanced technology to improve the ratio between stream size and image quality. H.265 compression format is only supported natively within one manufacturer.

Smart H.265+ codec provides high image quality without burdening the network. H.265+ encoding has dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible framing and intelligent noise reduction. It provides bandwidth and storage savings of up to 70% compared to the H.265 standard.

IR illuminator

The camera is equipped with an infrared illuminator with a working range of up to 30 meters. The LED diode provides an infrared beam that illuminates the monitoring area at night.

Fixed focal length lens

The camera also has a 2.8mm fixed-focus lens, which allows for instant integration into monitoring structures without the need for additional assembly operations.

Built-in microphone

The camera has a built-in sensitive microphone that allows for additional recording of the audio signal in parallel with the video material.

IP67 tightness class

The high quality of the casing is confirmed by the IP67 protection class assigned to the device.

Dahua ToolBox

Dahua ToolBox is a platform for distributing all kinds of applications (e.g. Smart PSS, ConfigTool, etc.) thanks to which you can easily configure the equipment, update it or generally manage the local and remote CCTV system. The latest version of the Dahua ToolBox platform is available from the Manufacturer's website .

ConfigTool

ConfigTool is an easy-to-use application used to search, configure and update Dahua devices. One of the important functions of the program is to modify access passwords and reset them. Configtool quickly finds IPC cameras and recorders (NVR, XVR) in a subnet using the MAC address.

Oprogramowanie Smart PSS

Dahua has created Smart PSS software for PC and MAC users to create and personalize their own observation system. Smart PSS can work with up to 256 devices and, in addition to displaying live images or playing back recordings, it allows for multi-monitor operation, e-map and e-PTZ support, video analytics support, face detection options, and advanced search for individual events.

DSS Express

DSS Express is an easy to use VMS system for installation on a PC/server. The software is used to meet the basic requirements for video operation and surveillance in CCTV systems. DSS Express can be easily extended with a license, providing the operator with access control solutions, VDP systems and alarm devices.
