3 MP 4 mm camera with color night

The device features a 3 MP lens with a resolution of 2304 x 1296 px. The focal length is 4 mm, providing a horizontal viewing angle of 84.4° and a vertical angle of 44.3° (diagonal 100.6°). The 4 mm version offers a greater recording range compared to the 2.8 mm option but sacrifices some field of view for extended reach.

This device supports color night mode with two white LEDs, allowing for color recording even in very low light conditions. It also includes a standard black-and-white night mode using two IR LEDs. In both modes, the maximum recording range is 30 meters.

Human & Vehicle Classification

The TP-Link VIGI C430 camera has a built-in feature for recognizing people and vehicles, which helps reduce false alarms and notifications. This feature is particularly useful when configuring alerts for line-crossing detection. With this functionality enabled, the camera will trigger alarms only when people or vehicles cross the designated line, avoiding unnecessary notifications triggered by animals or other non-relevant movements.

SmartVid

SmartVid improves the quality of recorded footage and consists of Smart IR, WDR, and 3D DNR. Smart IR ensures proper lighting of the image to prevent overexposure in night mode. WDR analyzes the lighting and adjusts the brightness or darkening of parts of the image so that the entire scene is clearly visible. 3D DNR is a feature that reduces noise in the video.

H.265+

H.265+ compression significantly reduces the size of saved files and lowers bandwidth requirements. The VIGI C450 has a maximum bitrate of just 6 Mbps, which is especially useful if the connection at a location is established via a wireless bridge.

Power over Ethernet

The camera can be powered using PoE with the 802.3 af/at standard, allowing you to connect the device using only an Ethernet cable. Alternatively, you can power it using a standard DC socket, with a voltage of 12 V DC.

Remote management

The VIGI app is available for mobile devices running Android and iOS. With the app, you can access live camera feeds and review saved recordings. A highly useful feature is real-time notifications, which can alert you to detected events. The app also allows full configuration of surveillance settings, such as patrol routes and motion zones.

You can also manage the camera via the web interface or recorder software, if you're using one. Additionally, the VIGI Security Manager program is available for PC.

VIGI system

The device is designed to work within the TP-Link VIGI system, but thanks to ONVIF protocol support, it can also be connected to recorders from other manufacturers.
