MikroTik SXTsq 5 ax is an integrated wireless device designed to operate in the 5 GHz band. It supports the IEEE 802.11 ax (Wi-Fi 6) protocols and is backward compatible with IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac standards. It features an integrated directional panel antenna with a gain of 16 dBi, and the maximum transmit power is 24 dBm. According to the manufacturer's data, the device was tested in challenging urban environments with interference and successfully operated over distances up to 3 km. The SXTsq 5 ax has one gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps), which also serves as a PoE power input. The input voltage is 12–28 V DC, and the maximum power consumption is 6 W. The package includes a 24 V / 0.38 A power adapter and a gigabit PoE injector. The device uses the standard housing known from other SXTsq models, intended for outdoor use and pole mounting. A metal hose clamp is included in the set. An additional advantage is the use of a Level 4 license — the SXTsq 5 ax can operate as an access point, not just a client device.

Complete 5 GHz 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) Wireless Device
The offered product is a complete wireless device consisting of a radio integrated with an antenna. It is designed to operate in the 5 GHz band, supports the IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) protocol, and is also backward compatible with IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac protocols. This is MikroTik's first client device supporting the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard. The SXTsq 5 ax is built on a high-performance dual-core IPQ-5010 processor (clocked at 800 MHz) supported by 256 MB of RAM.
Integrated 16 dBi Antenna
Inside the housing, there is an integrated directional antenna with a gain of 16 dBi. The manufacturer tested the device in challenging urban environments with significant interference and achieved a stable connection over a distance of up to 3 km. In other conditions, such as rural or suburban areas with clear line-of-sight, the range should reach up to 10 km.

1 Gigabit Ethernet Port, PoE Power Supply
The device is equipped with one gigabit Ethernet port, which enables full utilization of the capabilities offered by the wireless interface. The port also serves as a passive PoE power input, with an input voltage range of 12–28 V DC and a maximum power consumption of 6 W. The package includes a 24 V / 0.38 A power adapter and a gigabit PoE injector.
For Outdoor Use
The SXTsq 5 ax housing is fully designed for outdoor use. The device is intended for pole mounting, and a metal hose clamp is included in the package.

RouterOS with Level 4 License, Multiple Applications
The SXTsq 5 ax comes with a pre-installed RouterOS system with a Level 4 license, which enables a wide range of applications. By default, it is intended to function as a client device in point-to-multipoint or short-distance point-to-point connections. It is well-suited for internet service providers as a basic CPE for working with 802.11ax base stations. It can also wirelessly connect two locations at a relatively low cost while maintaining high throughput. Thanks to the Level 4 license, the device supports AP (access point) mode, further expanding its capabilities.
