The Ubiquiti Pro XG 48 PoE is a managed switch designed to operate under the UniFi system. It stands out with its high throughput, featuring 32× 10G Ethernet ports, 16× 2.5G Ethernet ports, and 4× SFP28 slots (25 Gbps). Each Ethernet port supports PoE+++, with a maximum output power depending on the standard: 15.4 W with PoE (802.3af), 30 W with PoE+ (802.3at), 60 W with PoE++ (802.3bt Type 3), and 90 W with PoE+++ (802.3bt Type 4). The total PoE power budget across all ports is 1080 W. The Pro XG 48 PoE supports the Etherlighting feature (port illumination using compatible patch cords) and selected Layer 3 management functions—DHCP server, DHCP relay, inter-VLAN routing, and static routing. This product is ideally suited as an access switch in networks built around Wi-Fi 7 access points. The high-throughput ports allow for full utilization of modern Wi-Fi generation capabilities, while the high-power PoE output enables connection of most UniFi APs. The switch includes a built-in 1350 W AC power supply and also features a USP RPS DS port for connecting to backup power (compatible only with the USP-RPS).

Each Ethernet port is equipped with PoE+++ power output. The maximum output per port depends on the applicable standard: 15.4 W for PoE (802.3af), 30 W for PoE+ (802.3at), 60 W for PoE++ (802.3bt Type 3), and 90 W for PoE+++ (802.3bt Type 4). The total output power budget across all ports is 1080 W. 19" Rack-Mount Enclosure, Built-in Power Supply, and USP RPS DC Port
The device is housed in a 19" rack-mountable enclosure. Due to the size and weight of the switch, the manufacturer recommends installation using four mounting rails, with a suggested distance between rails ranging from 600 to 1066 mm. The Pro XG 48 PoE is equipped with a built-in 1350 W AC power supply and features a universal power input with a voltage range of 100–240 V AC. Additionally, the switch includes a USP RPS DC input, allowing you to connect a UniFi Power Backup unit for emergency power redundancy.
