The TP-Link EAP650-Desktop is a compact, desktop access point supporting the Wi-Fi 6 standard (IEEE 802.11ax), operating simultaneously on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It offers a combined throughput of up to 3000 Mb/s – up to 574 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band.
Thanks to key Wi-Fi 6 technologies like OFDMA and MU-MIMO, the device ensures high performance, low latency, and stable operation in high-density user environments. Built-in mechanisms, including Beamforming, improve transmission efficiency and range, while the WPA3 protocol ensures a modern level of network security. The compact desktop design makes the EAP650-Desktop ideal for use on desks or shelves in small offices, cafes, medical facilities, or residential properties, enabling quick and aesthetically pleasing deployment. The device is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE (802.3at) support, providing deployment flexibility, stable power, and fast data transmission.
The EAP650-Desktop can operate independently or be part of a larger infrastructure managed by the Omada SDN platform, which offers centralized cloud management, intelligent load balancing (Load Balancing), seamless roaming (Seamless Roaming), and full control over network configuration.
