The Ubiquiti AI PTZ Precision is an IP camera designed to operate under the UniFi Protect system. It supports 4K resolution (8 MP) and features PTZ functionality with pan and tilt capabilities. The rotation range is 120° vertically and 360° horizontally, allowing it to capture the finest details and greatly assisting any operator. The manufacturer has equipped it with a varifocal lens with a focal length ranging from 6.91 mm to 214.64 mm, providing up to 31x optical zoom. The field of view at the widest setting is 59° horizontally and 34.1° vertically (67.1° diagonal), while at maximum zoom it is 1.98° horizontally and 1.12° vertically (2.27° diagonal). The optical zoom allows you to see even the smallest details. The camera uses LiDAR technology, which enables very fast autofocus, significantly improving zoom operation — after changing settings, you do not have to wait long for the image to become sharp. Another advantage is its long night vision range of up to 100 m. The device supports black-and-white night mode, features IR LEDs, and includes an IR cut filter. The camera also supports advanced AI features — it can recognize faces and license plates, and it also offers intelligent detection of people, vehicles, and animals. The AI PTZ Precision is equipped with a 1G Ethernet port, which also serves as a PoE++ (802.3bt) power input. The maximum power consumption is 51 W. An additional advantage is the microSD card slot, which allows recordings to be stored directly on a memory card instead of only on a recorder’s hard drive. Using the accessories included in the package, the camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling, or placed on a shelf or desk.

8 MP (4K) Camera

The offered product is an IP camera equipped with an 8 MP lens supporting 4K resolution. It provides very high image quality and allows significantly more details to be seen compared to HD / 2K cameras.

PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) Function

The device supports PTZ functionality with a rotation range of 360° horizontally and 120° vertically. This is especially useful when combined with automatic tracking — for example, after detecting a person, the camera can follow their movements as long as they remain within range. The AI PTZ Precision also supports patrol mode between selected points.

31x Optical Zoom

The camera is equipped with a 6.91–214.64 mm varifocal lens that enables up to 31x optical zoom. Thanks to this, you can achieve a very high level of magnification while tracking people, which is especially useful when the AI PTZ Precision is mounted at a significant height. The field of view at the widest setting is 59° horizontally and 34.1° vertically (67.1° diagonal), while in the telephoto setting it is 1.98° horizontally and 1.12° vertically (2.27° diagonal).

UniFi Protect

The AI PTZ Precision is a camera designed to operate under the UniFi Protect system. It requires adoption in the control panel and the use of a recorder compatible with UniFi or a gateway with recording functionality. The camera can be conveniently managed from the same interface as access points and other devices from the wide range of Ubiquiti UniFi solutions.

905 nm LiDAR

The built-in LiDAR enables very fast autofocus, making it easier to switch between different objects and improving the use of the zoom function — you do not have to wait long for the image to become sharp.

Night Vision Range up to 100 m

The device features built-in adaptive IR LEDs that automatically adjust to the currently selected zoom level in night mode. Thanks to this, they provide very high-quality recordings in low-light conditions without requiring user intervention. The maximum night vision range is 100 m.

For Outdoor Use, Pole / Wall Mounting

The enclosure is designed for outdoor use and has an IP66 protection rating. The package includes three types of mounting accessories — in most cases, the camera is installed on a wall or pole. Optionally, you can use the included stand to place it on a desk or shelf.

1x 1G Ethernet Port, PoE++ Power Supply

The AI PTZ Precision is equipped with a 1G Ethernet port, which also serves as a PoE++ (802.3bt) power input. Due to the high power consumption (51 W), a PoE++ power source is required, as the device cannot be powered in any other way.
