The Ubiquiti UP-AlarmHub is an alarm control panel designed for operation within the UniFi Protect SuperLink system. Inside the enclosure, there is a hub to which you can connect up to 32 sensors and 2 outputs for connecting alarm devices, such as sirens. The offered product can be powered via PoE++ / PoE+++, and it also allows the connection of an external 12 V battery that provides backup power in the event of a power outage or loss of mains electricity. According to the manufacturer's specifications, a 12 V 9 Ah battery is sufficient for approximately 6 hours of operation. The hub also features a PoE power output dedicated to connecting a compatible SuperLink gateway. The output power depends on the input power source: with PoE++ (802.3bt Type 3), it provides 42 W, while with PoE+++ (802.3bt Type 4), it provides 68 W. The enclosure is made of SGCC steel and polycarbonate and is intended for indoor use only. An additional advantage is the built-in door-open sensor, which allows an alarm to be triggered if the control panel enclosure is opened.

32 Alarm Inputs, Tamper Sensor

The hub is equipped with 32 alarm input terminals for connecting sensors. It has been designed primarily for use with wired sensors. If you want to connect wireless sensors, you need to purchase a SuperLink Gateway separately. The UP-AlarmHub also features a tamper sensor, allowing an alarm to be triggered if someone opens the enclosure door.

PoE Input and Output, Battery Backup Support

The device features a PoE++ (802.3bt Type 3) / PoE+++ (802.3bt Type 4) power input and a PoE+ power output, which is intended for connecting a SuperLink Gateway. The output power depends on the input power source and provides 42 W when powered via PoE++ and 68 W when powered via PoE+++.

Additionally, you can connect a 12 V battery to the UP-AlarmHub to maintain operation in the event of a primary power supply failure.

Indoor Installation

The enclosure is made of SGCC steel, while the cover is made of plastic (polycarbonate). The device is designed for indoor wall mounting.
