The Ubiquiti Building Bridge XG is a complete wireless bridge solution that integrates a high-performance radio with a built-in antenna. It operates primarily in the 60 GHz band and includes a 5 GHz backup radio to maintain connectivity if the 60 GHz link is interrupted. Designed for point-to-point (PtP) bridge deployments, the UBB-XG supports wireless links over distances of up to 500 meters while delivering throughput of up to 6 Gb/s. It is intended for use within the UniFi ecosystem and cannot operate in standalone mode. Its primary application is connecting two nearby buildings—such as separate office locations or company facilities—using a high-speed wireless link. The UBB-XG is fully designed for outdoor installations and features an IPX6 weather-resistance rating. The package includes a mounting bracket for installation on either a wall or a pole. For network connectivity, the device is equipped with one 10 Gb/s SFP+ slot and one Gigabit Ethernet port. The Ethernet port also serves as the PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) power input, and a compatible power injector is included in the package.
This device operates exclusively within the UniFi ecosystem and does not support standalone mode. A UniFi controller is required for configuration and management.
Point-to-Point Wireless Bridge for Distances up to 500 m
The offered product is a complete wireless solution designed to establish point-to-point (PtP) links over distances of up to 500 meters. The Building Bridge XG operates exclusively within the UniFi ecosystem, providing centralized management alongside the rest of your UniFi infrastructure. It is an ideal solution for connecting two buildings located within a relatively short distance of each other. By deploying a UBB-XG-Single at each location, you can create a single, unified network with high-speed wireless connectivity between the buildings.

60 GHz Wireless Link with 5 GHz Backup, Up to 6 Gb/s Throughput
The primary wireless link operates in the 60 GHz band, delivering a maximum throughput of up to 6 Gb/s. The device also includes a 5 GHz backup radio, which automatically maintains connectivity during adverse weather conditions when the 60 GHz link may become unstable or temporarily unavailable. The maximum theoretical throughput of the 5 GHz backup link is 866.6 Mb/s. The Building Bridge XG features integrated directional antennas optimized for both frequency bands. The antenna provides a gain of 21 dBi in the 60 GHz band and 14 dBi in the 5 GHz band, ensuring reliable long-range point-to-point performance.
10G SFP+ Slot
The device is equipped with a 10 Gb/s SFP+ slot, providing high-speed wired connectivity. This allows the UBB-XG-Single to fully utilize its high-performance wireless link without being limited by a 1 Gigabit Ethernet interface, enabling maximum throughput of the point-to-point connection.

PoE Power Supply
In addition to the SFP+ slot, the device is equipped with a 1G Ethernet port, which is primarily used as the power input. The Building Bridge XG supports PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt Type 3) as well as passive PoE (using either 4 pairs or 2 pairs). The maximum power consumption of the device is 29 W, and a compatible power injector is included in the package.
Designed for Outdoor Use
The device enclosure is fully designed for outdoor installations and features an IPX6 protection rating. It is protected against water ingress and UV radiation, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environmental conditions. The package includes a mounting bracket that allows installation on both a pole and a wall.
