Opton TM290 is an optical reflectometer adapted to perform measurements of wavelengths of 1310/1550 nm. The maximum measurement range is 60 km, the dynamic range is 22/20 dB. The device can only be used for singlemode fibers. An additional advantage is the ability to save up to 100 performed measurements.
The offered product has a built-in optical power meter and a laser light source. The power meter operates on the following wavelengths: 850/1300/1310/1490/1550/1625 nm, the optical power range is from -70 to 10 dBm. The light source operates on the wavelength of 1310 or 1550 nm, the modulation is set automatically or manually in the values ??of 270 Hz, 1 kHz or 2 kHz. Additionally, the device is equipped with a visual fault locator (VFL) with a power of 10 mW. The locator can be lit continuously or blink in two different modes.
The device is equipped with a touch screen that allows you to handle all available functions. FC / UPC connectors are used, the set includes SC / UPC connectors (just unscrew one and screw in the other). The reflectometer has a cover for the housing and a strap that allows it to be hung on the shoulder.
