6 gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 PoE++ output, 3 PoE+ outputs

The switch is equipped with 6 gigabit Ethernet ports. Port 1 features PoE++ power output - 802.3 af/at/bt. Ports 2-4 have PoE+ power output - 802.3 af/at. The power output per port depends on the protocol used and is maximally 60 W for 802.3 bt, 30 W for 802.3 at, and 15.4 W for 802.3 af.

The total power budget for the entire switch is 64 W. This is sufficient for connecting several devices, depending on their power requirements. With the PoE++ port, you can power modern, high-power-consuming access points efficiently.

"Extend" mode

The "Extend" mode (which you can switch using physical switches located at the back of the enclosure) is designed to extend the power range on ports 1-2. The throughput of these ports is limited to 10 Mbps, but the PoE range increases up to 250 meters. This is an excellent solution if you need to connect a remote IP camera without incurring additional costs.

"PoE Auto Recovery" mode

In "PoE Auto Recovery" mode (which you can switch using physical switches located at the back of the enclosure), devices connected to ports 1-4 will be automatically restarted upon loss of connection or unresponsiveness. This means that if an IP camera (or any other device) becomes unresponsive, it will be automatically restarted. This helps reduce your downtime by eliminating the need for manual intervention to troubleshoot and restart devices.

Plug & play

The SG1006PP is a plug-and-play device, meaning it works immediately after being connected without the need for initial configuration. Simply plug it into a power source, and it will start operating.

Intelligent Power Management

The PoE ports have assigned priority of operation, starting from the first port to the last. If the total power budget is exceeded, the switch will cut off the port with the lowest priority. This ensures that the remaining ports continue to operate, and the devices connected to them are powered.

Metal Casing

The offered product features passive cooling. Its metal casing facilitates proper heat dissipation. The device is characterized by its compact size, and the primary mounting method is desktop placement, suitable for putting on a desk or shelf. Optionally, you can mount the SG1006PP on a wall; however, mounting screws must be purchased separately as they are not included in the package.
