The TP-Link EAP653 UR is an access point designed for use within the Omada system. It can broadcast a Wi-Fi 6 wireless network and supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps for the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mbps for the 5 GHz band. This product is the UR version, which stands for Ultra Range, and it is characterized by a greater transmission range. It has two integrated 2.4 GHz antennas with a gain of 5 dBi and three integrated 5 GHz antennas with a gain of 5 dBi (the standard version has antennas of 2x 2.4 GHz with 4 dBi gain and 2x 5 GHz with 5 dBi gain). The device is equipped with a single gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps) that also includes PoE+ (802.3at) power input. Alternatively, power can be supplied through a DC socket. The housing is adapted for wall or ceiling installation, with the default mounting location being the ceiling.
The device is designed to operate within the Omada ecosystem. This system allows for centralized management of multiple access points to create a unified, extensive wireless network. As you move between different devices, you will be automatically switched without losing your Wi-Fi connection. Omada provides many advanced features related to network configuration and maintenance. It is a solution dedicated to professional use in offices, restaurants, schools, universities, and markets.

Wi-Fi 6 AX3000
The access point can broadcast a Wi-Fi 6 wireless network. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps for the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mbps for the 5 GHz band, which is significantly higher than standard Wi-Fi 5 access points. This provides a better quality connection and a more convenient experience when using internet resources.
Ultra Range version
The offered product differs from the standard EAP653 version by having an extended transmission range. The manufacturer has implemented a higher-gain antenna in the 2.4 GHz band (the UR version has a 5 dBi antenna, while the standard version has a 4 dBi antenna) and an additional antenna for the 5 GHz band. The 5 GHz transmission is handled by a total of three antennas, each with a gain of 5 dBi.
Gigabit Ethernet port, PoE+, wall / ceiling mount
The device has one gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps), which also serves as a PoE+ (802.3at) power input. You can also use a 12 V DC socket for power; the power adapter must be purchased separately, or you can use a PoE+ switch. The housing is designed for wall or ceiling mounting, and the package includes the necessary mounting accessories.
