4 Mpix 4 mm camera with full-color night mode

The device features a 4 MP lens and offers a resolution of 2688 x 1520 px. The focal length is 4 mm, and the field of view is 95.2° horizontally and 50.6° vertically (diagonal 114.7°). It is part of the ColorPro series, which is distinguished by the use of an F1.0 aperture, allowing significantly more light to reach the sensor compared to the F1.6 apertures commonly found in standard cameras. This enables the camera to record color images in low-light conditions without the need for additional lighting.

The camera supports color night mode and is equipped with 4 white light LEDs, with a maximum range of 30 meters. The night mode is activated when external lighting is too weak, but the camera does not have IR LEDs and does not support the standard black-and-white night mode.

Human & Vehicle Classification

The VIGI C340S features a function for recognizing people and vehicles, which helps reduce the number of false alarms and notifications. This means that if you configure a notification/alarm to be triggered by line crossing, it will only be activated by people and vehicles, not, for example, animals.

The camera has a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing for two-way voice communication through the VIGI app.

H.265+

H.265+ compression significantly reduces the size of saved files and lowers bandwidth requirements. The VIGI C340S has a maximum bitrate of just 6 Mbps, which is especially useful if the connection at a location is established via a wireless bridge.

MicroSD slot

The camera features a microSD slot where you can install a memory card with a maximum capacity of 512 GB. This allows you to store surveillance recordings without the need for an external IP recorder. In addition to the memory card, you can also use a traditional IP recorder or the VIGI Security Manager app, available for PC, to save recordings.

Remote management

The VIGI app is available for mobile devices running Android and iOS. With the app, you can access live camera feeds and review saved recordings. A highly useful feature is real-time notifications, which can alert you to detected events. The app also allows full configuration of surveillance settings, such as patrol routes and motion zones.

You can also manage the camera via the web interface or recorder software, if you're using one. Additionally, the VIGI Security Manager program is available for PC.

VIGI system

The device is designed to work within the TP-Link VIGI system, but thanks to ONVIF protocol support, it can also be connected to recorders from other manufacturers. VIGI provides professional and secure surveillance, making it ideal for both home and business use. It stands out with advanced management features and a simple, intuitive interface.
