The Mercusys MB130-4G is a wireless router with LTE Cat. 4 support. It offers a maximum theoretical mobile data speed of 150 Mbps for downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads. The device supports Wi-Fi 5 and is compatible with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput is 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz. The nanoSIM slot is conveniently located on the side of the enclosure, allowing for easy SIM card installation or replacement without opening the device. The router is equipped with two Fast Ethernet ports (10/100 Mbps): one WAN/LAN and one LAN. The MB130-4G can operate as a standard router and use the mobile network only as a backup in case the primary connection fails. This product is ideal for locations where traditional ISP services are unavailable. It is a perfect solution for temporary shops, food trucks, vacations, or summer cottages. 

LTE Cat. 4 Modem

The device supports LTE Cat. 4 mobile connectivity, offering maximum theoretical speeds of 150 Mbps for downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads. The router is also backward compatible with the 3G standard.

NanoSIM Slot

The MB130-4G is equipped with a nanoSIM slot located on the side of the enclosure. Installing and later replacing the SIM card is simple and does not require opening the device.

Wi-Fi 5 AC1200

The router can broadcast a Wi-Fi 5 wireless network and supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput is 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz. You can easily share the mobile data connection with multiple devices—the router supports up to 64 connected clients.

Long Range

The integrated high-gain LTE antennas ensure a stable connection without intermittent signal loss. The router handles mobile data transmission much better than a standard smartphone, making it ideal for areas with weak LTE coverage. Additionally, the device features internal connectors that allow you to attach an external antenna to further enhance signal range.

2 x 100M Ethernet Ports, WAN Backup Function

The device is equipped with 2 Fast Ethernet ports (10/100 Mbps), including 1 WAN/LAN port and 1 LAN port. By using the WAN port, you can connect the router to a primary internet source and use the mobile network only as a backup. In this setup, the device will automatically switch to LTE mode if the main connection fails, ensuring uninterrupted internet access.

MERCUSYS App

The MERCUSYS app is available for Android and iOS mobile devices. It allows you to fully configure your network without needing a computer—your phone is enough for the initial setup. The app significantly simplifies the management of Wi-Fi and mobile data transmission, as well as monitoring the router’s operational status. The software is user-friendly, so even inexperienced users will have no trouble getting their Wi-Fi network up and running.
