The Ubiquiti Wave MLO5 is a radio designed to operate in the 5 GHz band, using MLO (Multi-Link Operation) technology, which enables connections across more than one band simultaneously. This allows transmission to be carried out using two independent radio chains, resulting in high throughput — according to the manufacturer, the maximum speed reaches 5 Gbps. The Wave MLO5 can operate only in PTP mode (point-to-point connections) as a bridge. It is equipped with 1 SFP+ slot (10 Gbps) and 1 10G Ethernet port, which also serves as the PoE power input. The radio supports passive PoE, with a supported voltage range of 22–27 V DC and 44–54 V DC. The set includes a 54 V DC PoE injector with 10G Ethernet ports. The device stands out with its performance, featuring a quad-core IPQ5322 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and 1 GB of DDR4 RAM. The enclosure is fully designed for outdoor use, rated at IPX6 protection, and with the included accessories, the radio can be mounted on a pole, a wall, or directly on a compatible antenna.
Point-to-Point Radio
The offered product is a device designed for creating point-to-point (PTP) wireless connections, supporting only this mode of operation. The supported network mode is bridge. The Wave MLO5 is part of the UISP system, allowing you to manage the radio through centralized software, just like with solutions from the airMAX or airFiber series.

MLO Technology, 5 GHz Band, 5 Gbps Throughput
The device is designed to operate in the 5 GHz band, with the exact frequency listed in the specifications below. The radio uses MLO (Multi-Link Operation) technology, known from the Wi-Fi 7 standard. MLO enables simultaneous connections across more than one band, which translates into a significant increase in transmission capacity. The Wave MLO5 uses two radio chains, delivering much higher speeds compared to competing solutions. The maximum modulation is 4096QAM, with a maximum channel width of 160 MHz on the first radio and 240 MHz on the second. According to the manufacturer, the total maximum throughput is 5 Gbps.
1 SFP+ Slot, 1 10G Ethernet Port, PoE Power, RP-SMA Connector
The Wave MLO5 is equipped with 1 SFP+ slot (10 Gbps) and 1 10G Ethernet port. The Ethernet port also serves as the PoE power input, with the device supporting passive PoE at 44–54 V DC or 22–27 V DC. For antenna connection, RP-SMA connectors are available at the top of the enclosure.

IPX6 Rating, Pole/Wall Mounting
The Wave MLO5 enclosure is fully designed for outdoor use, featuring an IPX6 protection rating. With the included accessories, the device can be mounted on either a pole or a wall.
