Ubiquiti WaveFiber ONU is a customer terminal designed for GPON networks, intended to work with Ubiquiti OLT terminals. The device features one 2.5G Ethernet port, which allows achieving the maximum throughput of the GPON standard and enables offering subscribers data packages exceeding 1 Gb/s. The Ethernet port also serves as the passive PoE (24 V DC) power input—power cannot be supplied in any other way. WaveFiber ONU supports both bridge and router modes and also includes other useful features such as a network firewall. The manufacturer used an SC/APC connector, with a transmit power range of 1.5 to 5 dBm and a receive sensitivity range of -8 to -28 dBm.
GPON ONT Terminal
The offered product is a customer terminal designed for use in GPON networks. It is compatible with Ubiquiti solutions, with a maximum throughput—according to the standard—of 2.5 Gb/s for downstream data and 1.25 Gb/s for upstream. WaveFiber ONU can operate in bridge or router mode and supports NAT.


1x 2.5G Ethernet Port
The device is equipped with a 2.5G Ethernet port, which can also operate in 1G mode. Using such a port allows full utilization of the capabilities offered by the GPON standard. With the WaveFiber ONU, you can offer subscribers data packages exceeding 1 Gb/s. For the optical port, the manufacturer used an SC/APC connector, with a transmit power range of 1.5 to 5 dBm and a receive sensitivity range of -8 to -28 dBm.
Passive PoE Power Supply (24 V), Desktop Housing with Wall-Mount Option
Power can only be supplied to the terminal using passive PoE, with an input voltage of 20–28 V DC and a maximum power consumption of 5 W. The manufacturer used a desktop-type enclosure, but the device can be wall-mounted if needed. Power adapters are not included in the set and must be purchased separately.
