5G Mobile Connectivity, eSIM

The offered product features an integrated modem designed for mobile data connectivity. It supports 5G, with a maximum theoretical throughput of up to 4.2 Gbps (download) and 900 Mbps (upload) in 5G SA mode, or up to 5 Gbps (download) and 650 Mbps (upload) in 5G NSA mode. The device is backward compatible with 4G LTE (Category 20) and 3G networks.

The enclosure includes a microSIM slot for connecting a physical SIM card from your mobile operator. The LAMP 5G R16 also supports eSIM technology, allowing you to create multiple eSIM profiles and switch between different mobile network operators.

IP67 Protection Rating, EN 60945 Certification, GNSS Support

The enclosure is fully designed for outdoor deployment and features an IP67 protection rating, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environmental conditions. The device is certified to the EN 60945 standard, making it suitable for use in maritime environments, including installations at ports and on vessels.

An additional advantage is its support for GNSS positioning, including GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS. This enables location tracking capabilities, which can be beneficial in a wide range of applications.

Omnidirectional Antenna

Unlike most external mobile MikroTik devices, the LAMP 5G R16 features a built-in omnidirectional antenna rather than a directional one. This makes it better suited for travel (you do not need to adjust the device’s positioning) and allows it to receive coverage from a wider range of mobile operators.

1G Ethernet Port, PoE Power Supply

The device is equipped with a single 1G Ethernet port, which also serves as a PoE power input. The input voltage ranges from 12 to 56 V DC. The package includes a 24 V DC / 0.5 A power adapter and a suitable PoE injector. The LAMP 5G R16 also supports the PoE standard (802.3af/at). The maximum power consumption is 10 W.
