Huawei S5720-28X-SI-AC e' uno switch gestibile dotato di 24 porte Gigabit Ethernet, 4 porte Combo (SFP / Ethernet) e 4 slot SFP+. Il dispositivo provvede la possibilita' di trasmettere i pachetti sul livello di 96 Mb/s e la capacita' dello switching: 336 Gb/s. E' adatto ad essere utilizzato in tante soluzioni, tra l'altro come uno switch d'accesso oppure uno switch di aggregazione. Garantisce le funzioni avanzate della protezione di movimento, protegge dai diversi tipi di attack ( DoS, ARP o ICMP). Da' anche la possibilita' del controllo d'accesso e del controllo di capacita' (QoS) in base alle informazioni di diverso tipo (VLAN ID, numero della porta, TCP/UD oppure indirizzo MAC). Ogni porta rende possibile la creazione di 8 code utilizzando gli algoritmi come WRR, DRR, SP, WRR+SP e DRR+SP. La funzione avanzata di QoS provvede la perfetta qualita' della fornitura dei servizi voce, data e video.

Si puo' gestire lo switch tramite CLI oppure Web NMS di Huawei. Il dispositivo supporta SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON e sFlow. E' compatibile con il protocollo IPv6. E' possibile gestirne da Layer3. Provvede il routing statico, RIP, RIPng, OSPF, OSPFv3, VRRP e altre funzioni.
