The device is part of the innovative Cooper series by Dahua, which allows you to record images from places and facilities covered by 24-hour monitoring, providing reliable identification and a high level of security for both persons and protected property.
The most important parameters of the camera
The DH-IPC-CB1C20 camera is equipped with a 1 / 2.7 "2MP Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor that allows recording of video recordings with a maximum resolution of 2Mpx. Available correction functions, including DWDR, 3DNR, provide excellent image quality. .265+ makes the signal transmitted by the camera take up less space on the recording medium (eg HDD), which translates into effective protection and longer data storage time, and a fixed camera lens 2.8mm allows accurate recording of the observed scene, and the built-in Infrared illuminator with a range of 30m guarantees 24-hour monitoring with particularity and legibility of obtained recordings.The device is characterized by a high degree of resistance to adverse weather conditions (IP67).
The function eliminates the effect that arises when the camera is directed towards a strong light source, i.e. when the foreground becomes dark and unreadable. Compensation is the brightening of the foreground, unfortunately also at the expense of the background, which also becomes brighter. In general, the function improves the image quality.
The algorithm detects the points of the image that are strongly illuminated and then masks them to allow effective observation. The HLC mode is extremely useful when observing underground parking lots. Allows you to read license plate numbers that are covered with "bright spots" from the headlights.
The Region of Interest system allows you to increase the quality of the recorded image in the parts of the observed scene indicated by the user. Thanks to the ROI function, it is economical to record recordings and save the total size of video files while maintaining the original image quality in the priority areas.
Privacy masks
Effective video monitoring systems also include intelligent systems for selective recording of video recordings. Using the properties of the camera with the function of privacy zones, it will be realistic to individually adapt the way the observation system works to the spatial specifics and security requirements of a specific installation location. Thanks to the system of privacy masks, it is possible to freely determine fragments of the image that will be excluded from the video surveillance.
The horn camera is equipped with an infrared illuminator with an effective working range up to 30 meters. The strong LED system generates a strong beam of infrared light illuminating the monitoring area at night.
Cooper camera also has a fixed lens 2.8mm, which allows for instant inclusion in the monitoring structures without the need to take additional assembly steps related to the calibration of the optical system of the device.
The high quality of the enclosure confirms that the device has IP67 protection class. The camera is resistant to possible interference of solid bodies and retains its functionality even in the event of temporary contact with a strong stream of water.
The camera supports the ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) standard, which aims to unify the protocol, ie the way of communication between devices from different manufacturers.
Advanced H.265 compression
The latest H.265 compression provides 40-50% savings in bandwidth and memory. H265 encoding uses advanced technology to improve the ratio between stream size and image quality. The efficiency of compression has been improved, and real-time preview delays have been reduced. The H.265 compression format is supported only natively within one manufacturer.
The smart H.265 + codec provides high image quality without straining the network. This codec is optimized in relation to H.265. H.265 + encoding has a dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible frame creation and intelligent noise reduction. It saves bandwidth and storage space by up to 70% compared to the H.265 standard
Through the functionality of the Power over Ethernet system, the camera receives real support for simultaneous transmission of transmission data packets and 48V DC power supply. The camera with PoE technology will enable quick and efficient installation virtually anywhere and will significantly reduce the costs associated with the installation of the monitoring system.

Comprehensive management and supervision over the security system and camera network for observation determines the effectiveness of each video monitoring system. The Dahua company, with a view to the user of PC and MAC personal computers, has created the Smart PSS software for the creation and personalization of its own observation system. Smart PSS can work with up to 256 devices and in addition to displaying live image or playback of recordings allows for multi-monitor operation, e-map and e-PTZ support, video analytics and face detection options, or advanced search of individual events. Due to the program's versatility, it is feasible to manage both CCTV cameras of the high-resolution analog system and megapixel IP cameras.
