Summit BTH v2 is a Full Outdoor radio link (for outdoor use, no IDU) operating in the 17 and 24 GHz bands. The transmission is carried out on 2 channels, it uses both bands during operation. Thanks to this manufacturer, it was possible to significantly improve the stability and quality of radio link operation. The maximum bandwidth is 1 Gb / s, it can be achieved using the widest 160 MHz channel and the highest modulation - 128 QAM. The radio transmitting power is -25 to 12 dBm, both ODUs are equipped with 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP slots.
The offered product is distinguished by a convenient configuration tool - the SMS application. The program is available in three forms - GUI for Windows and Linux platforms (only via Wine), WUI in a web browser (it only allows you to view the work, without changing the configuration) and MUI for Android and iOS platforms. From the manufacturer's website you can download a MIB file, there is also special software for designing connections and calculating the signal.
The devices are powered via PoE in the 802.3at standard or DC connector, power supplies are not included in the set. The maximum power consumption is 30W and the input voltage range (when using the DC jack) is 20-57V DC.
The set includes 2 parabolic antennas with a diameter of 90 cm. The energy gain is 41 dBi in the 17 GHz band and 44 dBi in the 24 GHz band. Together with the antenna, you get solid holders on which the ODU is directly mounted.
We attach to the product 1 set of glands to protect the Ethernet ports (marked SET1) and SFP ports (marked SET2).
The most important features:
- works in 17 and 24 GHz bands (1 transmission per band);
- max bandwidth 1 Gb / s;
- 2 gigabit Ethernet ports;
- 2 SFP slots;
- 90 cm antennas (41 dBi energy gain in the 17 GHz band / 44 dBi in the 24 GHz band);
- channel width up to 160 MHz;
- max. 128 QAM modulation.
