Ubiquiti USW-PRO-24-POE is a switch adapted to UniFi networks, it belongs to the new Gen2 family. It is equipped with 24 gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP + slots (1/10 Gb / s), 16 Ethernet ports have PoE 802.3af / at power output, and the remaining 8 Ethernet ports have PoE 802.3bt power output. The output power per port is 32 W in the 802.3af / at standard or 64 W in the 802.3bt standard. The maximum total power output power is 400 W. The modern 802.3bt standard allows you to connect devices that require high power supply via PoE. The USW-PRO-24-POE has a built-in AC adapter and an additional Ubiquiti USP-RPS connector. The second connector serves as a backup DC supply and is used in the event of a failure of the main connection.

The offered product has been designed to be used in the UniFi network. Its configuration takes place from the level of the UniFi Controller centralized management system, the same that is used in access points and cameras. This allows you to unify your network and simplify its management. The switch supports Layer2 functions such as VLAN configuration, 802.1X control, RADIUS VLAN and spanning tree. Each port can work in switching, mirroring or aggregate mode. In future versions of the software, the manufacturer is to add Layer3 functionality, including inter-VLAN routing, static routing and a DHCP server.
