Ubiquiti LBE-5AC-XR is a CPE device designed for the airMAX AC network. It works in the 5 GHz band, it is distinguished by a very high energy gain - 29 dBi. It has been designed to cope with the most difficult conditions, to connect subscribers far away from the base station. The beamwidth is 7.5 °. The device has a gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which also serves as a PoE input. The product supports passive PoE with a voltage of 22 - 26 V DC, like other Ubiquiti solutions. An additional advantage is the built-in GPS antenna.
Point-to-multipoint airMAX AC CPE
The LBE-5AC-XR is adapted to the airMAX AC network (5 GHz band), supports PtMP and PTP modes. It can serve as a client, ideally suited to difficult conditions, in locations far from the base station. On the other hand, the LBE-5AC-XR enables the creation of an efficient PTP connection at a relatively low cost. The maximum bandwidth according to the manufacturer is about 450 Mb/s.
Long Range, built-in GPS antenna
The offered product is distinguished by a very large transmission range. The antenna has an energy gain of 29 dBi and a directional beamform, with a 7.5° (at -6 dB) beamwidth. It provides a much better range than other solutions in the airMAX AC series. An additional advantage is the built-in GPS antenna, which allows synchronization, which is very useful in long-distance connections. The antenna itself consists of 3 smaller elements, making it easy to transport.
IPX6 ingress protection
The device has an IPX6 degree of protection, it is fully adapted for outdoor use. The set includes a bracket that allows you to mount the LBE-5AC-XR on a pole. The device has a similar design to other products from the LiteBeam series - the radio is located in the feeder, and the dish consists of several elements that must be assembled. Thanks to this, the whole thing takes up little space and is easy to transport.
Gigabit Ethernet, PoE In
In the LBE-5AC-XR, the manufacturer has used one gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which also serves as a PoE input. The device supports passive PoE, the input voltage range is 22 - 26 V DC, and the maximum power consumption is only 7 W. The set includes a 24 V DC / 0.5 A power supply.
UISP system, Bluetooth management
The offered product is compatible with the Ubiquiti - UISP management system. Individual devices can be configured from a single platform, plus access to advanced network performance monitoring and detailed traffic statistics. UISP also handles billing and invoicing and allows you to add subscribers to the system and manage their plans. The LBE-5AC-XR is equipped with an additional Bluetooth radio that can be connected via the UISP application. The application allows for quick installation in the field, without the need to connect a computer.
