Opton FOSC-D-32 is a DOME (dome) fiber optic closure adapted for installation outside buildings, on a pole. Inside there are 4 splice trays, each of them will fit up to 8 splices. In the lower part there are 3 round holes with a diameter of 16 mm and 1 hole with dimensions of 25x40 mm. Thermo-type outputs are used, the wires should be protected with heat-shrinkable tubes, which are included in the set. There are single cable holders at the round entrances and double cable holders at the oval entrance. On the back of the trays you'll find space for spare cable.

Shrinkable sealing

The fiber optic closure uses shrinkable type entries, after installation, the cables should be secured with heat shrink tubing, which you will find in the set. This type of protection is safer than cable glands, and additionally universal - it fits cables of various diameters. The 3 round holes are 16 mm in diameter and the oval hole is 25 x 40 mm. Using the oval hole, you can insert 2 cables into the closure.

4 splice trays (32J)

Inside the closure you will find 4 splice trays, each of which can hold up to 8 splices, which gives space for 32 fibers in total. You can tilt the trays, thanks to which you have access to every splice without having to disassemble the equipment. The manufacturer has provided a lot of space for cable reserve, the fiber remaining from the pigtail can be wound quickly and safely on the tray.

Cable brackets

Each round hole has a single cable holder and the oval one has double cable holder. Properly mounted cable is protected against movements that may cause shifting / breaking of fibers. The metal elements above the brackets are used to attach the cable reinforcement elements (ARP / FRP rods).

Pole mounting

The offered product is adapted for pole mounting with the use of steel tape or metal clamps. It is made of UV-resistant plastic and can be used outdoors. The inside has been secured with a gasket, cable entries / exits must be secured by yourself. The height of the fiber closure is 30 cm, and the width (at its widest point) is 18 cm. Despite the large capacity, the product retains relatively small dimensions.
