The TP-Link EAP772 is an access point designed for use within the Omada system. It supports wireless transmission using Wi-Fi 7, operating with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols on the 2.4 GHz band, IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be protocols on the 5 GHz band, and IEEE 802.11 ax/be protocols on the 6 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, 2880 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, and 5760 Mbps on the 6 GHz band. This access point offers significantly higher speeds compared to Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E solutions due to the implementation of the new 802.11be protocol and 4096QAM modulation. Wi-Fi 7 also introduces several other beneficial features, with the most notable being Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which allows for simultaneous connections across multiple bands, unlike previous standards that only supported single-band connections. The device is equipped with a 2.5G Ethernet port, which also serves as a PoE+ (802.3at) power input. Alternatively, the access point can be powered through a DC jack. The housing is designed for mounting on walls or ceilings, with ceiling mounting as the default option.
The device is designed to operate within the Omada ecosystem, which allows for centralized management of multiple access points to create a unified, extensive wireless network. As you move between different devices, you will be automatically switched without losing your Wi-Fi connection. Omada offers a wide range of advanced features related to network configuration and maintenance. It is a solution tailored for professional use in environments such as offices, restaurants, schools, universities, and markets.
Note: The power adapter is not included in the package!
Wi-Fi 7 BE9300
The access point is designed to support Wi-Fi 7 wireless networks, utilizing IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band, IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be protocols in the 5 GHz band, and IEEE 802.11 ax/be protocols in the 6 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, 2880 Mbps in the 5 GHz band, and 5760 Mbps in the 6 GHz band. This high speed is achievable due to the implementation of the 802.11be protocol, which introduces 4096QAM modulation, whereas older protocols (802.11ax) used a maximum modulation of 1024QAM.
Wi-Fi 7 also introduces several features that positively impact the quality of the wireless connection. The most significant of these is Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which allows data to be transmitted across multiple bands simultaneously (e.g., in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands). In older standards, a device could connect to an access point in only one band at a time.

The device is designed to operate within the Omada ecosystem. This system allows centralized management of multiple access points to create a unified, extensive wireless network. As you move between different devices, you will be automatically switched without losing your Wi-Fi connection. Omada offers many advanced features related to network configuration and maintenance. It is a solution tailored for professional applications in offices, restaurants, schools, universities, or markets.
2.5G Ethernet port, PoE
The access point features a 2.5G Ethernet port, allowing it to fully utilize the capabilities offered by the Wi-Fi 7 standard. This port provides a significantly faster wired connection compared to standard solutions equipped with 1G Ethernet ports. Additionally, the port serves as a PoE+ (802.3at) power input; alternatively, you can use the standard 12 V DC jack. The maximum power consumption is 24.05 W when using PoE or 20.92 W when using a regular power adapter. The power adapter is not included in the package; it must be purchased separately or used with a PoE switch.
