QSFP28 module

This device is a QSFP28 transceiver that supports a throughput of up to 100 Gb/s, more than double the capacity of QSFP+ modules. Transmission operates across four bands, each offering a throughput of 25.78 Gb/s. It is ideal for critical connections where the highest possible speed is essential.

Singlemode Fiber, Range up to 80 km

This product is compatible with optical cables equipped with Singlemode fiber, enabling long-distance transmission.

The 100G-SM-ZR4 transceiver features an optical power output of 2 ~ 6.5 dBm and a receiver sensitivity of -28 ~ 2 dBm. The maximum connection range is an impressive 80 km, making this module suitable for connecting distant locations.

LC/UPC connectors

The transceiver utilizes standard LC/UPC connectors.

Two Connectors, Duplex Transceiver

The transceiver uses two connectors: one for transmitting (Tx) and the other for receiving (Rx) signals. Four separate transmission bands operate on different wavelengths within the 1294 - 1310 nm range. It is essential to connect the Tx of one transceiver to the Rx of the other.

Wide Compatibility

Opton QSFP28 modules are factory-programmed for Cisco but can operate seamlessly with devices from all manufacturers that do not enforce third-party transceiver restrictions. These include brands like MikroTik, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, D-Link, and Planet.
