Ubiquiti ECS-24S-PoE is an advanced switch designed for use in large, complex campus networks. It features 8 × 2.5G Ethernet ports, 16 × 10G Ethernet ports, 4 × SFP28 slots (25 Gb/s), and 2 × QSFP28 slots (100 Gb/s). The QSFP28 slots are located on the rear of the chassis, and the device supports switch stacking with up to 8 switches in a single stack. Each Ethernet port provides PoE+++ (802.3bt Type 4) power output, with a maximum power delivery of 90 W per port. The total power budget reaches up to 1050 W when the power supply modules operate in Shared mode and the input voltage is 200–240 V AC. The switch delivers a switching capacity of up to 460 Gb/s and is designed for the most demanding network environments. It supports Layer 3 management features, including a DHCP server, DHCP relay, inter-VLAN routing, and static routing. The package includes two 600 W AC power supply modules, which can operate in Shared mode to increase the available power budget or in Redundant mode to provide backup power. The switch also includes four fan modules operating in a 3+1 redundant configuration. All power supply and fan modules are hot-swappable, allowing replacement without interrupting the operation of the device.

The switch is equipped with 8 × 2.5G Ethernet ports and 16 × 10G Ethernet ports, enabling it to support modern Wi-Fi 7 access points without limiting their performance. In addition, it features 4 × SFP28 slots with throughput of up to 25 Gb/s and 2 × QSFP28 slots with throughput of up to 100 Gb/s. The QSFP28 slots are located on the rear of the chassis and are primarily intended for switch stacking. The SFP28 slots allow you to build a 25 Gb/s network infrastructure, representing a significant upgrade over the older SFP+ standard, which supports speeds of up to 10 Gb/s.
24 PoE+++ Outputs, Total Power Budget up to 1050 W
Each Ethernet port provides PoE+++ power output, with the highest supported standard being 802.3bt Type 4 and a maximum output power of 90 W per port. The total power budget depends on the operating mode of the power supply modules and the input voltage. With an input voltage of 200–240 V AC and the power supplies operating in Shared mode, the total power budget reaches up to 1050 W. Hot-Swap Power Supply and Fan Modules
The installed power supply and fan modules are hot-swappable, allowing them to be replaced while the switch remains in operation. The fan modules operate in a redundant 3+1 configuration; if one module fails, the remaining three are sufficient to maintain proper cooling of the switch. The power supply modules can also be configured in Redundant mode. In this configuration, if one power supply fails, the other automatically takes over, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
