Cloud Gateway UniFi

The offered product is a Cloud Gateway designed for the UniFi ecosystem and supports all available UniFi applications: Network, Protect, Access, Talk, and Connect. From a practical standpoint, it combines the functions of a router, controller, firewall, and IP video recorder in a single device. Thanks to its high-performance architecture, the solution is intended for large-scale network deployments. It can support up to 750 UniFi devices and as many as 7,500 connected users.

8x 10G Ethernet Ports, 2x SFP+ Slots, 2x SFP28 Slots

The device features 8 × 10G Ethernet ports, 2 × SFP+ slots (10G), and 2 × SFP28 slots (25G). By default, one 10G Ethernet port and one SFP28 slot are configured as WAN interfaces. The WAN port configuration can be customized, and the device supports up to 8 simultaneous WAN connections. The Dream Machine Beast supports load balancing and automatic failover between WAN connections in the event of an outage. The device enables the deployment of a 10 Gb/s network backbone, making it an excellent choice for modern high-performance network environments.

2 HDD Bays and Built-In Video Recording Functionality

The device includes two 3.5-inch HDD bays that can be used to store surveillance recordings. This functionality eliminates the need to purchase a separate network video recorder (NVR). The maximum supported camera capacity is up to 40x 4K cameras, up to 60x 2K cameras, 100x HD cameras. This makes the Dream Machine Beast a powerful all-in-one solution for both network management and video surveillance deployments.

High Availability and Reliability

The UDM-Beast supports Shadow Mode (VRRP), allowing two gateways to be connected in parallel, with one operating as a standby unit. This configuration provides a high level of network reliability and helps protect against potential router or controller failures.

An additional advantage is the USP-RPS connector, which enables the device to be connected to a redundant DC power source using a compatible UniFi backup power system. This further enhances system availability and ensures continued operation in the event of a primary power supply failure.
