The ShinewayTech OPM-15A is an optical power meter for use with singlemode and multimode fibers. The wavelength can be set to: 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550 or 1625 nm, the power range is -70 ~ 10 dBm. The device measures the attenuation and losses of a fiber optic connection. It enables checking the quality and continuity of the link. The set includes replaceable FC / SC / ST connectors, the measurement value can be given in the following units: dB / dBm / mW / μW / W.

The device is powered by standard 9V / 450mAh alkaline batteries, the battery life should be 40 hours. The offered product is the simplest optical power meter that is suitable for measurements performed in small networks.
